(Anaheim, Calif.) April 2007 - In a hectic and troubled world complete with wars, emotional plagues and lost souls, it's so nice to stop for a moment and listen to a new musical artist that offers some calming solace and a fresh poignant sound.

The debut release of Julie Carmona Young's album entitled "I Can't Lose Heart" is a musical and lyrical breath of fresh air. With a voice like an angel, this collection of ten original songs has a way of working its way under your skin and by the middle of the album you feel encouraged, full of hope and more able to handle the challenges of the day.

The title of the album taken from the Bible, found in Hebrews 12:1-3, "For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." is a call for each of us to confront our personal struggles with a spirit of strength, heart and faith. Julie's album delivers these qualities both musically and lyrically, in a beautifully crafted, yet child-like manner.

Compositionally, the album contains chords reminiscent of early Billy Joel with strong lyrical content and memorable hooks. In fact, producer Joey Arreguin put together an impressive collection of musicians, including Billy Joel's drummer - Rhys Clark, Bassist - Keith Rosier and Ricky Z on guitars. Julie completes the band with her own masterful piano delivery and intimate sound. Composer/Arranger Neil Argo adds lush honest string lines that complement Julie's songwriting and delivery. The album was recorded at Love and Laughter Recording Studios in Anaheim, California.
